Modules (direct lesson links + summaries)

1) The Temple Teaches the Plan of Salvation

The temple helps us understand Heavenly Father’s plan and our covenant path. Ordinances and instruction point to Jesus Christ and our return to God’s presence.

Open Lesson 1

Try: Sketch the plan of salvation and add one scripture for each part (Creation, Fall, Atonement, Spirit World, Resurrection, Kingdoms of Glory).

2) Worthiness to Enter the Temple

Temple worship requires ongoing conversion and Christlike living. Temple recommend interviews help us prepare spiritually and live gospel standards.

Open Lesson 2

Try: Review recommend questions with a parent/leader and set one concrete habit to strengthen (Sabbath, honesty, media, tithing, etc.).

3) Temple Work Brings Blessings

Serving in the temple strengthens faith in Christ, brings peace, and blesses families on both sides of the veil through proxy ordinances.

Open Lesson 3

Try: Do one family history task and prepare a family name for baptisms or confirmations.

4) Receiving Temple Ordinances & Covenants

In the temple we make sacred covenants and receive power to keep them. These covenants deepen discipleship and help us become more like the Savior.

Open Lesson 4

Try: List covenants you have already made (e.g., baptism) and how you live them daily; add one way to prepare for temple covenants.

5) Learning from the Lord through Symbols

The Lord often teaches through symbols. Understanding scriptural symbols can prepare us to learn by the Spirit and recognize Christ’s central role in temple worship.

Open Lesson 5

Try: Choose three scriptural symbols of Christ and write one personal insight for each.

6) Preparing to Enter the Holy Temple

Preparation includes spiritual habits, worthiness, counsel with leaders, and practical steps for your first temple experience.

Open Lesson 6

Try: Create a two-week “temple habits” plan (daily prayer, scripture study, media standards, service).

7) Continuing to Enjoy Temple Blessings

Temple worship continues after your first visit: return often, keep covenants, and seek personal revelation as you serve and learn.

Open Lesson 7

Try: Plan your first two post-endowment temple visits (who you’ll go with, dates, and family names).
